產學合作與國內外競賽雙管齊下 (Industry-academia collaboration and domestic and international competitions are pursued simultaneously)

「近期成效亮眼的亞灣2.0計畫，就能見到許多學生或校友在裡頭貢獻專長的身影。」樹德科大校長王昭雄表示，與產業攜手育才是學校的拿手好戲，光是應用社會學院在2024年的產學合作案，就累計高達2億6千萬的產值；資訊學院則是將觸角伸向國巨、日月光、華東科技、群創光電等多家上市櫃公司，透過多元合作讓學生有更多獲得實務經驗的機會；管理學院所培育的人才也是企業爭搶，尤其是菁英學程的學生們，要不就是考取國立研究所，要不就是畢業即就業，都有相當好的未來發展；設計學院最強的就是在國際的盛大賽事上替台灣爭光。

“The recent success of the Yawan 2.0 project clearly shows many students and alumni contributing their expertise,” said President Wang Zhaoxiong of Shu-Te University. He emphasized that industry-academia collaboration is the university’s forte. Just in 2024, the Applied Social Sciences College alone achieved a total industry-academia collaboration value of 260 million NT dollars. The Information Technology College has extended its reach to several publicly listed companies, including Yageo, ASE, Eastern China Electronics, and Innolux, offering students more opportunities to gain practical experience through diverse partnerships. The talent cultivated by the College of Management is highly sought after by companies, especially the students in the elite programs. Many either gain admission to national research institutes or secure jobs immediately upon graduation, both with strong prospects for the future. The College of Design stands out for its achievements in major international competitions, bringing glory to Taiwan.

王校長指出，在全球化的競爭壓力之下，現代的人才必須要有更強的國際移動能力，因此樹德科大與多所國際知名大學合作，提供交換生計畫、雙學位課程及海外實習等各式各樣的學習機會，幫助學生拓展全球視野，例如應用外語系就以英語核心課程為主，其他外語（日、韓、西、法、越南、德語等）為輔，並加強「國際商務與觀光學程」及「雙語教學學程」，藉以培養更多具有外語技能與專業知識的專業外語人才。

President Wang pointed out that, under the pressure of global competition, modern talent must possess stronger international mobility. Therefore, Shu-Te University has partnered with several internationally renowned universities to offer a variety of learning opportunities, such as exchange programs, dual-degree courses, and overseas internships, to help students expand their global perspective. For example, the Department of Applied Foreign Languages focuses on English as the core curriculum, with additional courses in other languages (such as Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, and German) to complement the program. It also strengthens the “International Business and Tourism Program” and the “Bilingual Teaching Program” to cultivate more professionals with foreign language skills and specialized knowledge.

至於在縮短學用落差方面，樹德科大除了業界實習與產學合作雙軌方式之外，更祭出了一系列生成式AI的相關課程，要讓學生們更加貼近科技產業的潮流，成為AI應用人才，無須懼怕被AI淘汰。
「保持好奇心及求知欲是提升競爭力的關鍵。」王校長指出，樹德科大有相當豐富的教學資源，即使是最新的AI工具也同樣融入課程之中，比方說大數據與生成式AI專業教室的建置、智慧市場調查與生成式AI創作的系統建立、圖片與文本方面的AI生成探索，以及提升數位素養的AI為課程等等，全都已經在各學院落實執行。

As for bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, Shu-Te University not only offers industry internships and industry-academia collaboration through a dual-track approach but has also rolled out a series of courses related to generative AI. These courses aim to bring students closer to the trends in the tech industry, helping them become AI application talents who need not fear being replaced by AI.

“Maintaining curiosity and a thirst for knowledge is key to enhancing competitiveness,” said President Wang. He pointed out that Shu-Te University boasts rich teaching resources, and even the latest AI tools have been integrated into the curriculum. For example, the establishment of professional classrooms for big data and generative AI, the creation of systems for smart market research and generative AI creations, exploration of AI-generated images and texts, and AI courses to enhance digital literacy—these have all been implemented across various departments.

此外，在ESG方面的永續相關課程，樹德科大同樣做了萬全準備，包含近期與工研院合作的淨零永續基礎概論數位線上學習平台，就是幫助全校師生深入了解永續趨勢、法規及各項標準的一大利器，首波合作共110位師生投入學習，難能可貴的是全體都通過了測驗並獲得授證，成為國家推動淨零轉型政策的生力軍。
展望未來，王校長期待既有的教學特色能夠更加擴大彰顯，像是逐步恢復因疫情而暫緩的境外實習，以及持續導入來自越南、柬埔寨、烏克蘭等10多個國家的外籍生，進而打造更加國際化的學習環境，讓學生們在國內外都能有一展長才的堅強實力！

In addition, Shu-Te University has also made comprehensive preparations for sustainability-related courses in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). This includes a recent collaboration with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to launch a digital online learning platform for the “Net Zero Sustainability Fundamentals.” This platform helps the entire faculty and student body gain a deeper understanding of sustainability trends, regulations, and various standards. In the first round of cooperation, 110 faculty and students participated in the learning program, and notably, all of them passed the exam and received certification, becoming a driving force in the national push for the net-zero transformation policy.

Looking to the future, President Wang hopes to further expand and highlight the university’s existing teaching features. This includes gradually resuming overseas internships that were postponed due to the pandemic, as well as continuously introducing international students from over 10 countries, including Vietnam, Cambodia, and Ukraine, to create an even more internationalized learning environment. This will enable students to build strong capabilities and showcase their talents both domestically and internationally.
